As usual 3rd meeting of the East Cheshire Linux group turned out to be a very good informal evening, the members are very knowledgeable and for any newcomers they make everyone welcome.

Paul brought his new Laptop loaded with Ubuntu.
Perhaps Ubuntu is one of the easiest to install on laptops many unusual built in devices work first time. Paul also mentioned fullcirclemagazine.
This free magazine on Ubuntu is well worth a visit it beats the expensive monthly magazines, not only a magazine but has interesting podcasts.
