Type wine in the top right hand search bar
Wine Microsoft Windows Compatibility Layer
Click on the wine file browser
To simplify installation create two folders
dream & webs.
Open a terminal
tony@tony-laptop:~$ cd .wine
tony@tony-laptop:~/.wine$ ls
dosdevices drive_c system.reg userdef.reg user.reg
tony@tony-laptop:~/.wine$ cd drive_c
tony@tony-laptop:~/.wine/drive_c$ ls
dream Program Files users webs windows
tony@tony-laptop:~/.wine/drive_c$ cd dream
Click on .wine file browser. Navigate to you cdrom Dreamweaver 8 installation file.
Click on the Dreamweaver8-en.exe
The Dreamweaver 8 InstallShield Wizard will run
Tick Create quicklaunch Bar Shortcuts
browse the destination folders
In Macromedia dreamweaver 8 installshield deselect all attributes
In Site Definition for test
Select No I don't want to use server technology
Select Site Definition
Test dreamweaver 8. create a simple web page
Check webpage with winebrowser
