“Saga of Vista problems” lost my administrator password
I have just been given my older brothers e-machine d620 lap-top.
He can’t remember his Vista administrator password he has never made the recovery DVD’s
You can get back to administrator without too much effort but you will need to make
A bootable Linux dvd iso
Search Google for “pc login now 2.0” please remember never use this dvd on other peoples computer there are severe penalties hacking into someone else’s system.
We managed to create an account administrator.
Ran the e-machines backup onto two DVD’s
And created the driver and utilities.
I reformatted the drive and rebuilt Vista with the recovery DVD’s
Booted the system Vista tested and seemed ok.
