MoOur 27 year old Sprite Musketeer caravan has not been used for 10 years.
With more time on our hands we thought it would be nice to have a few summer holidays with the caravan.
The last few weeks have been very busy wire brushing the A frame and painting with Hamerite. Overhauled the brakes, wheel bearings new tyres fitted.
Two large dent’s filled with fibreglass and all one side re-spayed with Marcell Guest Car Paint. It looks very good.
Glenys is making new curtains.
The weather yesterday was glorious, we went up to Fernilee took 6 trays of plants out of the greenhouse. They were all grown from seeds from the Pound shop Macclesfield, one packet of hanging basket seeds filled 8 boxes.
All these have been grown from a big bag of compost from BM Macclesfield very good value £2.50 better quality than B&Q selling at £6.
After hard days work at Fernilee we called in at Morrison’s at Buxton it’s a lovely store and the cafe is great we had two lovely meals. Special offer after 4.30pm two meals with drinks for £7. Both were very nice meals highly recommended.
I have been thinking about buying a lap top computer or a netbook something like an EE but the trouble with the EE they are too expensive and not very good for long periods of typing and they won’t run Dreamweaver.

With a name like Compaq you cannot go wrong
I bought one and spent the evening testing the laptop
The 15" display is good the keyboard is nice to use event the mouse
touch pad is easy to use. (I find on most laptops the touchpad difficult to use and often resort to a usb mouse).
I am delighted with lap top.
Now I know everything is working ok.
It’s all packed up again a present for my 65th birthday in August.
My old Compaq is now 7 years old running windows ME 128mb ram.
