In mandriva 2008 standard version Konqueror starts up in file view mode.
after installing mandriva 2008 64 bit Spring edition.
Konqueror starts up web browser mode after tinkering about with settings
you are happy with the changes. You try saving the settings only to
find after restarting Konqueror you are back in browser mode.
The easy way to correct this restart konqueror select SETTINGS
take a note of the present profile in my case it was navegaco web mandriva.
LOAD VIEW PROFILE select FILE MANAGEMENT
save this to the original in my case it was navegaco web mandriva.
