I am very disappointed that the new konqueror kde ver 4.3.2 has the file manager removed.

KDE konqueror 3.5 was brilliant with a good file Manager. The KDE 4 team have worked hard to improve KDE it is very good but what a shame about konqueror.

The core of linux is brilliant but to compete with Windows 7 and Vista.
The desktop ease of use is paramount perhaps the most important is the file manager. The one operation that users must be able to use is drop and drag with intuitive permissions and the ability to run as super user without having to drop to terminal commands.
Removable devices should be shown in konqueror like the old version
And being able to unmount the device safely
Konqueror should be able edit/run any file.

Many users are reporting disappointment with konqueror after upgrading from Mandriva  2008 distro all loved the file manager in Konqueror.

We are all very disappointed that the new konqueror kde ver 4.xx has the file manager removed.
The web browser is poor "why bother using this when you can use very good browsers like chrome (chromium) or firefox".
Kde say that they have removed this because the file manager DOLPHIN is more powerful.   Not so it so clunky and old fashioned.

Do you know how to install konqueror 3.5 on mandriva 2010?
or perhaps configure the new konqueror to behave like Mandriva 2008.
