MY ADVICE DON’T BUY ANY TELEPHONE SERVICES OFF TESCO
Tesco Don’t care about customers

Users received an email:
We are writing to let you know that from 27th April 2010, we will no longer be providing Tesco internet phone and Talk Wi-fi services.

I have bought 4  Tesco Internet phones for friends and family
They were very handy for holidays times, quite often we could use internet broadband and use voip Tesco phone to landlines at 2p per minute.

I am not going to get any money back.
The phones were bought before the cut off date. I don’t have the receipts.

They take your money and leave you high and dry

Tesco now is not providing enough services and good customer service to their customers. My friend also received this kind of message. I am disappointed when I read the message.

This is the email I received from Tesco March 2010


Thank you for your recent e-mail regarding Tesco Internet Phone.

It was with regret that we had to send an email to say that our Internet Phone service will cease from 27th April.

Please be assured that we are dealing with your request and you should receive your refund by 25th May 2010.  With regards to the hardware, we are hoping to provide some sort of unlock so they will be compatible with other services if they were bought outside of the refund period.

After a long wait last week I received a white envelope in the post.
Two Tesco gift cards one for 5 pounds and one for 25 pounds.
And a letter of apology due to a mix up some Tesco Internet Phone users did not receive a refund
due to an administration error.

Quite a nice supprise. Faith In Tesco returns

Users with a Tesco USB Internetphone can use Skype service
With better audio quality than the old Tesco Voip service.
Simply plugging the usb voip phone will locate the usb driver
The Tesco phone can be used with the skype control panel.
Native drivers can be downloaded from the Internet.
