Tesco are abandoning customers

Message received from TESCO

We are writing to let you know that from 27th April 2010, we will no longer be providing Tesco internet phone and Talk Wi-fi services. This is due to a number of factors that impact the service we provide to you, so we have decided to discontinue this offering.

From this date your Tesco internet phone account will be closed and the Tesco internet phone website will not be available. You will no longer be able to access your online account or be able to make calls using your Tesco internet phone.

With the exception of any free credit provided with your handset, we will refund (by cheque) any credit held in your account after 27th April 2010. Please click here to email your Tesco internet phone number(s), name and full postal address to us. This information is required to ensure we post your cheque to the correct address. You should receive your cheque by 25th May 2010. If not, please contact us by phone or email.

This does not affect any other services provided by Tesco Telecoms.

We apologise for any inconvenience and will be happy to assist you with any enquiries you may have.

They are giving direction on their statement as a whole. I don't know the reason of saying these things to their customers. They don't provide a good customer service.
